Il B&B “Il Labirinto”
sorge nel cuore dell’isola di Ortigia, in uno dei
quattro quartieri principali, ognuno con funzioni
diverse, che in epoca medievale costituirono la
città. Il Bed and Breakfast è posto a mt 20 dalla
Piazza Archimede, che con la fontana dedicata a
Diana cacciatrice (l’artemide dei Greci) ed i suoi
punti di incontro, è uno dei luoghi maggiormente
preferiti dai turisti.La struttura è situata a due
passi dalla“fonte Aretusa”, luogo simbolo della
città, lussureggiante di papiri, che deve il suo
fascino al mito della Ninfa Aretusa. La fonte
situata in un punto panoramico tra i più belli
dell’isola, consente di ammirare il mare del porto
grande ed i più suggestivi tramonti della Sicilia.
In prossimità del Bed and Breakfast si trovano
inoltre due lidi, in cui è possibile fare il bagno.
Il nostro B&B rappresenta, pertanto, un’occasione
unica per immergersi in un’atmosfera fatta di suoni,
luci, colori e profumi, e per vivere una vacanza
veramente unica. La Struttura, frutto di un accurato
e raffinato lavoro di restauro di un’antico
palazzotto nobiliare della fine del 700, conserva
intatte tutte le caratteristiche delle case
siciliane dell’epoca. Dispone di gazebo e sala
colazione, arredata con estrema cura, dove la
colazione tipicamente mediterranea viene servita dal
nostro personale attento e cortese. E’ inoltre
possibile, per il relax dei nostri ospiti,
intrattenersi in un delizioso e verdeggiante
terrazzo. Le camere sono confortevoli ed
elegantemente arredate. Sono dotate di
climatizzazione autonoma, tv satellitare e bagno
privato con doccia e asciugacapelli. Servizi E’
possibile parcheggiare l’autovettura in Via
Maestranza oppure più avanti vicino al lungomare
sulle strisce bianche (gratuito) sulle strisce blue
(a pagamento); in Via dei Margulensi vicino
all’Ufficio Postale dove c’è un’autorimessa
convenzionata custodita al coperto. Gli ospiti
potranno ricevere altresì informazioni su visite
culturali. Le escursioni in barca a vela vengono
gestite direttamente dalla struttura. Servizi
esterni Farmacia,Ufficio Postale, Edicola,
Tabaccheria, Banche, Ristoranti, boutiques e beauty
center.

The B&B arises in the heart of Ortigia
Island and it is located in thealleyway Via
Laberinto off the Via Maestranza about 30 mt
from ArchimedeSquare with its magnificent
fountain named after "Diana", a Greek
divinityrepresenting the Hunting Goddess.
The area is considered by tourists one ofthe
favourite meeting places. IT IS SITUATED
within an easy walk to the Cathedral (the
ancient Acropolis) and very close to Aretusa
Spring where papyrus plants grow. In this
area, just by the Big Harbour over the
glittering Mediterranean Sea, it is possible
to admire one of the most striking sunsets
in Sicily. THE B&B IL LABIRINTO arises in
the old part of Siracusa. The streets around
the B&B are notable for their interesting
facades. On the west side of Ortygia, by the
harbour, you can also admire the stunning
sunsets over the Mediterranean sea. Piazza
Archimede (30 metres) - A favourite meeting
spot for tourists, this square is home to a
magnificent fountain named after Diana, the
Greek hunting goddess. Fonte Aretusa (500
metres) - Just a few streets away, right by
the sea, is this fountain which is home to
several papyrus plants. Neapolis
Archaeological Park (2.5 km) - A longer
stroll will take you to this UNESCO World
Heritage site, home to the Dionysus' Ear
cave, the Greek Theatre and the necropolis
where Archimedes was reportedly buried. THE
ISLAND The area surrounding the B&B is quiet,
but many of Siracusa’s tourist sights are
found in Ortygia, so you could easily spend
a day wandering around them all and visiting
the museums. There are also various bars,
restaurants and pubs with walking distance,
meaning that you will not have to go far
from the B&B to find entertainment in the
evening. Although the hotel does not have a
restaurant, you will discover a number of
bars and restaurants within easy walking
distance of the hotel. How to reach us By
Car: - From Catania head towards Siracusa
and take the south (sud) exit. - Turn left
onto the ring road, then continue straight
on. - After passing the railway station you
will reach Piazza Marconi. - From there
follow the signs to Ortigia. - When you
reach Via Malta you will see the bridge
(Ponte Umberto) which connects the city to
the island. - Cross the bridge and carry
straight on until you reach Piazza
Archimede. - Here turn left onto Via
Maestranza and on your right you will find
the sign for B&B Il Labirinto.
Services Parking: You may park your car in a
private garage near the property at the rate
of EUR 5 per day. There is also a public car
park (Talete) and on-street parking (with a
meter) nearby. The hotel offers a
customer care service to anyone who needs
assistance with booking or organising
cultural excursions. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
PUBLIC UTILITIES: Post Office, Banks,
newspaper kiosk, bookstore, tobacconist's
shop, restaurants, boutiques, beauty centre
and movie theatre, stores. THE PROPERTY
Housed in a building dating back to the 16th
century, this B&B in the heart of Ortygia
island, offers easy access to the sea and
surrounding attractions. Once the residence
of a noble family, the building has been
lovingly restored to maintain all the
characteristics of Sicilian houses from that
period, so you can experience a taste of
times gone by.THE ROOMS The rooms are
furnished with attention to detail and are
fitted with a 20' satellite TV, air
conditioning, heating and an en suite
bathroom with hairdryer and shower. A
TYPICAL MEDITERRANEAN BREAKFAST In the
morning you can enjoy a traditional
Mediterranean breakfast in the breakfast
room on the top floor, under the gazebo or
even on the relaxing and leafy terrace,
served by the attentive staff.
