The B&B Globetrotter Syracuse is located in a stunning corner of  Ortigia Island,  the town’s historical center. We are but 200m away from the Duomo Piazza, on the second floor of a 20s style building on the enchanting Matteotti main street; a convenient area for shopping in the  most exclusive boutiques in town. We are very easy to find by foot, alternatively by a shuttle service generously provided by the TALETE parking, located 400m away from our BandB which is free until 9pm, and only a mere euro from then on. In our Bed and Breakfast at Syracuse, you will be welcomed by a multi-lingual and professional staff alike to one found in a hotel but for smaller budgets and the kind of informality found in a hostel. Our rooms are to your every comfort, furnished with a television, Wi-Fi internet, air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom; upon your arrival: drinks, chats and a map and all the information necessary for your discovery of Siracusa, aswell as Pantalica, Vendicari, Etna, Taormina and Catania.

The Bedrooms

 All our bedrooms in the B&B Globetrotter Syracuse are luminous and welcoming, set in a relaxing atmosphere with an en-suite bathroom complete with a hair-dryer, air conditioning, a T.V and Wireless Internet. The cleaning service is daily and the sheets are changed every three days and of course after every check-out.

 Upon your arrival at the B&B, the personnel will provide you with a map of the splendid town of Syracuse, informing you on cultural or festive events, the best restaurants in the area and the possible excursions you can take part on to Vendicari, Pantalica, Etna, Taormina e Catania.

How to reach us

 The B&B Globetrotter Syracuse is located on the beautiful Island of Ortigia, the historical center of town. We are a mere 200m from the Duomo main square, easily reached by foot or with the pick-up service provided  by the TALETE parking service, located only 400m away from the B&B, available and free until 21h00 and only a euro after hours.

By train

From the Syracuse Railway station follow the signs for Ortigia –centro storico, take firstly Via Francesco Crispi, then Via Malta, follow the road until you reach and take the Umbertino bridge. You will find yourselves in Piazza XXV Luglio, on your left you will see the Dorico Temple dedicated to Apollo, turn right onto Corso Giacomo Matteotti where you will have reached your destination at N.45.

By car

From the exit of the motorway marked Siracusa Sud, drive until you reach the entrance of Syracuse, following signs for Stazione Ferroviaria (railway station) and Centro Storico Ortigia (historical centre Ortigia). You should arrive on Via Malta, drive on taking the Umbertino bridge. You will find yourselves in Piazza XXV Luglio, on your left you will see the Dorico Temple dedicated to Apollo, turn right onto Corso Giacomo Matteotti where you will have reached your destination at N.45.

Die Zimmer

Alle Zimmer in unserem B&B Globetrotter Siracusa sind hell und gemütlich, dem totalen Relax gewidmet, mit privatem Badezimmer, Klimaanlage, TV, Fön, Wireless Internet. Die Säuberung der Zimmer wird jeden Tag erfüllt, die Bettwäsche wird bei längeren Aufenthalten alle drei Tage gewechselt und bei jedem check-out.

Mit dem Zug

Vom Hauptbahnhof aus müsst ihr den Hinweisen in Richtung Altstadt Ortigia folgen, erst folgt ihr Via Francesco Crispi und dann Via Malta, folgt der Straβe bis ihr an der Brücke UMBERTINO ankommt, die ihr überquert. Dann kommt ihr in PIAZZA XXV LUGLIO an, auf der linken Seite seht ihr den Tempel DORICO, der Apollo gewidmet ist, biegt auf der rechten Seite in Corso MATTEOTTI ein bis zur Nummer 45. 

Mit dem Auto

Nehmt die Ausfahrt der Autobahn Siracusa Sud. Fahrt weiter bis zum Eingang der Stadt Siracusa, wo ihr den Hinweisen Hauptbahnhof (Stazione Ferroviera) und der Altstadt (Centro Storico Ortigia) folgt. Biegt in Via Malta ein und folgt dem Straβenverlauf bis zur Brücke Umbertino und überquert sie. Dann kommt ihr Piazza XXV Luglio  an, auf der linken Seite seht ihr den Tempel Dorico, der Apollo gewidmet ist, biegt auf der rechten Seite in Corso Matteoti

Vous vous trouverez sur la Place XXV Luglio, à votre gauche le Temple Dorico dediqué à Apollo, tourner à droite sur la rue principale Corso Giacomo Matteoti où vous trouverez notre B&B au num. 45..

En voiture

En partant de la sortie Siracusa Sud sur l’autoroute, continuer jusqu’à l’entrée de la ville de Syracuse, suivre les indications routières pour la station ferrovière (Stazione Ferroviaria) et centre historique d’Ortige (Centro Storico Ortigia). Vous devriez arriver sur la Via Malta, continuer et traverser le pont Umbertino. Vous vous trouverez sur la Place XXV Luglio, à votre gauche le Temple Dorico dediqué à Apollo, tourner à droite sur la rue principale Corso Giacomo Matteoti où vous trouverez notre B&B au num. 45.

El B&B Globetrotter se halla en el centro historico de Siracusa justo en la rua principal de la isla de Ortigia. La pension està a 200 metros de la plaza del Duomo y dentro a un palacio de los anos 20 a la segunda planta y tiene ascensor. Es muy facil alcanzarlo andando a 5 minutos desde la parada del autobus o si tienes coche a pied desde el aparcamiento Talete a 400 metros dal B&B, guardado y  gratis hasta las h. 21:00, mientras desde h. 21:00 hasta las 07:00 el billete vale 1 euro y tambien si tienes maletas a 1 minuto cojendo el autobus justo donde se halla el aparcamiento que os dejarà a lado del B&B.En nuestro hostal a Siracusa encontraras professionalidad y servicios de un hotel, se hablan màs idiomas pero los precios y la alegria de un hostal, las habitaciones acogedoras y disponen de TV, internet WiFi, aire acondicionada y cuarto de bano en la habitacion. En cuanto llegaras os serà ofrecido algo para beber un mapa y todas las informaciones que necetiras para descubrir a parte Siracusa tambièn Pantalica, Vendicari, Etna, Taormina y Catania.

 La pension Globetrotter de Catania cuenta con 4 habitaciones dobles y triples con cuarto de baño en la habitaciòn, balcones, TV, aire acondicionado, internet WiFi y secador de pelo.

El estilo es clasico y las camas son muy confortable. La limpieza es diaria y se cambian toallas y sabanas cada 3 dias.
